When is the Olympics 100m final? Paris 2024 dates & times for men’s and women’s events

Who will win gold in the 100m?

Marcell Jacobs and Elaine Thompson-Herah

The 2024 Olympic Games is one of the highlights of the summer sporting schedule – and all eyes will be on the 100m sprint.

It’s always the event that grabs the most attention thanks to the incredible speeds on display and the popularity of sprinters over the years including the legendary Usain Bolt.

The Jamaican is the GOAT, with his 100m time of 9.58 set back in 2009 still standing as the men’s record today.

The gold medal in the men’s 100m at the last Olympics in Tokyo went to Italy courtesy of Marcell Jacobs’ shock victory.

In the women’s event, Elaine Thompson-Herah has been the best in recent years, becoming a triple Olympic champ at the 2020 Olympics, while her time of 10.54 set in 2021 is the second-fastest official recorded time in history.
