Irish Open 2023: Paddy Power Poker’s all-you-need-to-know guide to this year’s event

Time's running out to qualify!

Shuffle up and deal because the 2023 Irish Open Poker event in Dublin in fast upon us – and time is running out to qualify online for the event.

Running from the 3rd to the 10th of April at the new, larger venue, of the Main Hall at the RDS for 2023 you’ve got until April 5th to book your spot in the main event with a €1 million guaranteed prize pot.

You can grab the final few spaces for the main event by qualifying through on Paddy Power Poker tournaments with a €50 buy-in. Handily, you can check the full remaining list of times, dates and places up for grabs here.

The Irish Poker Open is the longest-running No Limit Hold’em tournament outside of Vegas and the oldest in Europe with a history going back more than 40 years.

So, pretty old. Not as old as Paddy, though.

The 2023 festival consists of 39 events throughout the week with buy-ins ranging from €150 to €5,000 and the new venue this year in the RDS Main Hall has over 100 poker tables.

Main Event time starts on the 5th with a €1,150 buy in and €1,000,000 guaranteed.

They’ll be plenty of entertainment to go with the hold ’em action too.

There’s live music onsite every night from 23:30 till late in ‘The Chancers Arms’.

And no Paddy Power-sponsored event would be complete without our real-life Wonder Wheel making an appearance with plenty of prizes to be given away.
