NBA: You’ll be feeling the swish if this 5/2 basketball double lands

You down have to go from downtown all the time with your b-ball bets…

Orlando Magic v Dallas Mavericks: Mavs -7.0 Points – 10/11

This contest features two of the worse teams in the entire league. The Magic have thrown away a promising start and now sit on a record of 12-28 after a series of bad performances.

The Mavericks aren’t doing much better in the Western Conference by the way, standing on 13 wins and 28 defeats themselves.

Momentum wise the Magic’s form has seemingly vanished, with just one win in the last 10 matches, mainly due to a few injuries that are side-lining key players like centre Nikola Vucevic and guard Jonathan Simmons.

Dallas are 5-5 in the last 10 outings, and although they lost the last four, they’ve played better so they should bounce back tonight to cover the spread against the Magic at 10/11.

Sacramento Kings v Los Angeles Lakers: Over 213.0 Points – 10/11

Two of the weakest teams in the West division tip off here as Sacramento travel to the Staples Center with a losing 13-26 season and a 12th place in the Western Conference. In the same conference the Lakers are 14th, with a record of 12-27.

The Kings are not a high tempo team, with just 97.5 possession per match, while the Lakers lead the NBA with 106.4 possession every 48 minutes. Elsewhere, the Kings have the worse offence in the league with just 97.6 points per match and when you add in the fact that the Lakers have the second worse defence with 111.8 points conceded per game, that should let the Kings find the basket much easily.

From their side the Kings have allowed an average of 106.2 points until now. The last 10 Lakers games have seen an average of 225 points scored and despite the Kings not being a top scoring team, we do expect another high scoring contest tonight in LA.
