Philadelphia 76ers @ Phoenix Suns – Back the Suns @ 23/20
Philly are playing in back to back matches. They were victorious yesterday in Denver but they are yet to win back-to-back matches. After a promising start the 76ers are having major issues. In December they won only 4 out of 15 matches. On the other hand, in the last couple of weeks, the Suns have picked up some good momentum with 5 wins out of 7.
Both teams play up tempo basket. The 76ers are second and the Suns fourth in the Pace factor (possession played per match) in the league. Both are defensively frail; the Suns are the weakest in the league, conceding 112.1 points per match but the 76ers aren’t much better with 18.8 points conceded per game – the fifth weakest defence in the league.
Although Joel Embiid should play tonight we’re on the Suns to win this match.
Charlotte Hornets @ Los Angeles Clippers: Clippers -2.5 all the way @ 10/11
The Clippers are 15-19 for the season and sit in second place of the Pacific Division. The Hornets are 13-22 and are third in the Southeast division.
While the Clippers have not had the best of results at home, with a record of 8-7 for the season, the Hornets are having a very poor season on the road with just 3 wins out of 15 matches.
Despite missing Danilo Gallinari and Patrick Beverley, the Clippers at home should cover the handicap against the Hornets.
The Double Pays 3/1
LA Clippers -2.5 to beat the Charlotte Hornets – 10/11
Phoenix Suns to beat the Philadelphia 76ers – 23/20
