EuroLeague: Crash the boards with our 2/1 double

Love some hoops? Well, here’s who are traders are on in European action…

Saski Baskonia v Real Madrid: Real Madrid (-2.5) points – 4/5

Saski Baskonia are 1-5 for this season in the EuroLeague, after a terrible start of the season in both the league and the Liga ACB.

The Basques have changed coach and results improved straight away with wins in the Spanish ACB and in the EuroLeague against Panathinaikos.

Real Madrid are coming into this match on the back of a terrible week with losses in Tel Aviv (EuroLeague) and at home against Barcelona in the first Clásico of the season. However, for the contest tomorrow they should have new signing, Walter Tabares.

He’s a centre that should fix their recent problem of presence in the paint after Ayon’s injury. This is a big match for both sides, but we believe Real will get back to their winning habit and cover the spread at 4/5.

Maccabi Tel Aviv v Anadolu Efes: Maccabi -5.5 points – 4/5

After the great win against a powerhouse Real Madrid, Maccabi Tel Aviv are hosting a Anadolu Efes outfit that won their first match of the season in the EuroLeague last week in Barcelona.

Maccabi is 3-1 at home and have always beaten the spread in the home matches, even in the loss to Olympiacos when they were only beat out by a point.

Anadolu are 1-5 for the season and their losses have all been by 7 or more points. Maccabi’s EuroLeague season has been going very well until now, their a much renewed team in comparison to the disastrous 2016-17 season.

With the Israelis performing strongly and we reckon that home advantage will prove to be too much for the disappointing Anadolu Efes. Expect the spread to be slam dunked here too at 4/5.
