It looked like plain sailing for Andy Murray after Novak Djovovic crashed out last week to Russian, Dennis Istomin. Sadly for Sir Andy he succumbed to serve and volley stylings of Mischa Zverev, the German was a 12/1 shot to beat Murray and duly obliged for 51 brave Paddy Power punters who backed the world number 50.
The two big guns crashing out early paves a way for a new outright favourite and, veteran, Rodger Federer now finds himself at the top of the market at 5/2.
Federer’s fellow countryman Stan Wawrinka was a the heart of another shocking moment from this years tournament. The World number four seemed to be heckled by a Rodger Federer fan in the crowd.
