9:05pm – Miami Dolphins @ Cleveland Browns – Miami Dolphins -6.5
We know that the Dolphins historically struggle in cold weather, but they should be able to come out on top and cover the spread against a Browns’ team in disarray. We know that Dorian Thompson-Robinson will be starting in Week 17 with Jameis Winston still recovering from injury and Deshaun Watson on IR.
This really shouldn’t be close, given that it’s a third-string QB against a team who have playoff hopes, no matter how slim they are. Miami impressed against the 49ers last week and will be ready to win here.
9:25pm – Green Bay Packers @ Minnesota Vikings – Green Bay Packers moneyline
We will see both of these divisional rivals in the playoffs, but with the Vikings still in contention to pip the Lions to the divisional title, there will be lots to play for. Both teams have very good defenses that are capable of winning their games, but it’s the Packers’ offense that has more tools and more dynamism.
The Packers offense is ranked third in DVOA compared to 14th for the Vikings. The last game between the two saw the Vikings win a close game, but this time, the Packers will have too much.
Josh Jacobs anytime touchdown scorer
When it comes to finding the endzone, there’s one Packer who stands above them, and that’s running back Josh Jacobs. He has 14 touchdowns on the season, double that of his closest competitor, Tucker Kraft.
Since the Week 10 bye week, we’ve really seen the Packers lean on the 26-year-old, and he’s scored in the six games following, scoring a total of 10 touchdowns in that time span.
Jordan Addison anytime touchdown scorer
Vikings’ receiver Jordan Addison started the season slowly, with just two touchdowns in the first eight weeks, thanks in part to an injury that kept him out of two games.
Over that time, he only had one game with more than four targets. Since Week 9, he’s had five or more targets in all eight games, and he’s rewarded his team with seven touchdowns. When it comes to scoring, it’s Addison, not Justin Jefferson, who is the dangerman.
1:20am – Atalanta Falcons @ Washington Commanders – Washington Commanders moneyline
Sunday’s primetime game is a big one with huge postseason implications. The home side will lock in a playoff spot with a victory, while the Falcons are two wins away from sealing the NFC South.
However, there’s a gulf in quality between these teams. The Falcons have been poor this season, and it’s quarterback Michael Penix Jr’s second start and his first on the road.
Meanwhile, the Commanders keep finding ways to win, and Offensive Rookie of the Year favourite Jayden Daniels is playing at an incredible level right now. Daniels and the Commanders on their home field should be able to win this one.
