NFL Tips: Sunday evening’s 6pm 21/1 Multi-Match Bet Builder

Ben Steele is launching into Sunday's 6pm NFL action!

Arizona Cardinals

Week 13 of the NFL season kicks off with a packed Sunday of action as the race for the playoffs hots up.

As the action gets underway our pigskin prognosticator Ben Steele has whipped up a mega Multi-Match Bet Builder for the 6pm games.

NFL Sunday Multi-Match Bet Builder

6pm – Arizona Cardinals @ Minnesota Vikings
T.J. Hockenson Over 37.5 Receiving Yards
Jordan Addison Anytime Touchdown

6pm – Pittsburgh Steelers @ Cincinnati Bengals
Ja’Marr Chase Anytime Touchdown

6pm – Los Angeles Chargers @ Atlanta Falcons
Gus Edwards Anytime Touchdown

Arizona Cardinals @ Minnesota Vikings

T.J. Hockenson Over 37.5 Receiving Yards

The Minnesota Vikings have been a bit of a surprise package this season. Sam Darnold wasn’t expected to be the starting quarterback, but an injury to first-round pick J.J. McCarthy made him the main man. He’s led Minnesota to a 9-2 record. In recent weeks, he’s been boosted by the return of T.J. Hockenson.

The 27-year-old Tight End missed the first months of the season recovering from an ACL and MCL tear at the end of last season, but last week, he looked back to his best with seven catches for 114 yards against the Chicago Bears.

With Arizona focusing on wide receivers Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison (more on him in a second), I’d expect Hockenson to go Over his 37.5 receiving yards line comfortably.

Jordan Addison Anytime Touchdown

When teams design the game plan for Minnesota, their main focus is always to stop Justin Jefferson. Jefferson is an elite-level wide receiver who, at just 25, is already among the best receivers to have ever played the game.

In recent weeks, teams have had some success stopping Jefferson, but that focus on him has allowed fellow receiver Jordan Addison to flourish.

Addison, a first-round pick in last year’s draft, has been exceptional in November, scoring three touchdowns in four games, with last week’s win over the Bears seeing him notch a career-high 162 receiving yards.

On a hot scoring streak and against a pass defence around the league average, I’m backing Addison to start December with a touchdown.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Cincinnati Bengals

Ja’Marr Chase Anytime Touchdown

Jordan Addison isn’t the only wide receiver on a scoring hot streak. Ja’Marr Chase of the Cincinnati Bengals has been incredible in recent weeks, with 18 catches for 339 yards and five touchdowns in his last two games.

While the Bengals season has been disappointing, they are considerably better than their 4-7 record suggests, and Chase is a big part of that.

Pairing with Joe Burrow, Chase leads the league in receiving touchdowns with 12 and has already terrorised the Bengals’ other AFC North rivals, scoring six TDs in three games against Baltimore and Cleveland. With Pittsburgh rolling into town on Sunday, look for Chase to add another score to his tally.

Los Angeles Chargers @ Atlanta Falcons

Gus Edwards Anytime Touchdown

Last season, the Baltimore Ravens’ running back, J.K. Dobbins, suffered a torn Achilles tendon in Week 1 and missed the rest of the year. This installed backup runner Gus Edwards as the starter, and he took his chance, scoring 13 touchdowns.

Despite this, at the end of the season, Baltimore decided to release both Dobbins and Edwards, with both men signing for the Los Angeles Chargers.

On Monday night against Baltimore, Dobbins again picked up an injury, and Edwards stepped into the leadback role, scoring his first touchdown of the season. With his teammate ruled out of Sunday’s trip to Atlanta and the Chargers keen to run the ball early and often, I’m expecting Edwards to add to his total, especially in goal-line situations.
