Sam Farley is launching into Sunday's 9pm NFL action!

Week 13 of the NFL season continues with a packed Sunday of action as the race for the playoffs hots up.

As the action gets underway our pigskin prognosticator Sam Farley has whipped up a mega Multi-Match Bet Builder for the 9pm games.

Bucky Irving Over 54.5 Rushing Yards
Bucky Irving Anytime Touchdown

Baltimore Ravens to win

Los Angeles Rams @ New Orleans Saints

Matthew Stafford Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns

This hasn’t been a vintage year for Matthew Stafford, and he’s only had two or more passing touchdowns in four of his 11 games so far. However, that should change here. Firstly, and most importantly, we need context.

Puka Nacua got injured early in the season’s first game, while Cooper Kupp went down in the second. That deprived Stafford of the two best pass-catchers in his team. Both returned in Week Eight and since then, we’ve seen the real Stafford, with 12 touchdowns and four of the five games seeing Over 1.5 passing touchdowns.

Over 49.5 Total Points

While looking at the data across the season doesn’t give a fair indication about the Rams and their offense, for the reasons above, you can say the same for the New Orleans Saints too. They’re 4-7 on the season but have a far more respectable 4-4 record with Derek Carr under center.

This is a high total, but the Saints scored an average of 27 points in games with Carr, while the Rams scored 23.8 in the five games that both Kupp and Nacua started and finished. With both teams having poor defenses, we should be on for a shootout.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Carolina Panthers

Bucky Irving Over 54.5 Rushing Yards

There was a lot of preseason buzz around Bucky Irving, but it took some time for the fourth-round running back to get going and even longer for him to establish himself as Tampa Bay’s lead back.

He’s averaged 52.7 rushing yards per game but has truly broken out in the past two weeks with double-digit carries each game and an average of 80.5 rushing yards per game. Now he faces the NFL’s softest rushing defense, who’ve allowed a staggering average of 160.5 yards on the ground every game.

Bucky Irving Anytime Touchdown

We’re doubling down on Irving and backing him to find the endzone. He’s scored in the past two games and has a great chance to add a third successive game with a touchdown for the first time in his NFL career.

No team has given up more touchdowns to the running back position than the Panthers, who have allowed 16 touchdowns (14 rushing and two receiving) in 11 games.

Philadelphia Eagles @ Baltimore Ravens

Saquon Barkley Under 86.5 Rushing Yards

The Kansas City Chiefs suffered their first loss of the season last week in a 30-21 defeat to the Bills, and that’s terrible news for the Carolina Panthers. Patrick Mahomes and Co come to town as double-digit favourites and will be confident about covering that handicap.

All seven of Carolina’s defeats have been by 10 points or more, and Mahomes has recovered from a midseason slump, throwing nine TDs in his last four games, which bodes well for Andy Reid’s side.

DeAndre Hopkins, Xavier Worthy and Travis Kelce will be looking to run up the score, while the Chiefs defence may fancy their chances of scoring against a turnover-plagued Panthers side.

Baltimore Ravens to win

This matchup gives us the league’s two best teams for rushing the football. The Ravens are better at stopping being run on, with the Eagles ranked five spots behind them. That means we should see both teams need to throw more, and Lamar Jackson has shown us far more in that department.

As impressive as the Eagles’ seven-game winning streak has been, we need to consider that just one of those seven teams has a record of about .500. Across the whole season, the Eagles have played a team that currently has a winning record on three occasions, and they’ve lost two of them.

They’re a good team with a strong ground game, but they’re perhaps overrated. The Ravens have played six teams with winning records and won four of them.
