NFL Tips: Our 8/1 Raiders @ Chiefs Black Friday Bet Builder

NFL tipster Peter Sharland has Patrick Mahomes putting in a shift on Friday night.

In what is now a yearly tradition two NFL teams will take to the field rather than the shopping malls for the league’s Black Friday game.

This year it’s a divisional clash from the AFC West as the struggling Las Vegas Raiders travel to Kansas to take on the defending champion Chiefs.

Our gridiron tipster Peter Sharland reckons we’re going over the line here. Let’s get his Las Vegas Raiders @ Kansas City Cheifs betting tips.

Las Vegas Raiders @ Kansas City Chiefs Bet Builder tips

Travis Kelce – Over 53.5 receiving yards
Brock Bowers – Over 61.5 yards receiving yards
Patrick Mahomes – Over 250 total passing yards
Over 42.5 points

The Las Vegas Raiders are struggling at 2-9 and are now without starting quarterback Gardner Minshew for the season after his Week 12 injury in the loss to Denver. A new quarterback and a much-needed franchise reset in the 2025 draft feels inevitable at this point.

The Kansas City Chiefs, for their part, are one of the weirder 10-1 teams in recent memory but do feel distinctly New England-y in their ability to keep racking up wins without dominating.

These two teams met a few weeks ago in Vegas, with the Chiefs coming out 27-20 winners, and although that was on National Tight End Day, we’re backing the Mahomes & Co. to have a big day on Black Friday.

Travis Kelce – Over 53.5 receiving yards

No Chief has more receiving yards than Travis Kelce this season (569) and last time out against Las Vegas he notched 90 yards with a touchdown. It is just another reminder that when times are tough more often than not Mahomes will go to Kelce to help get himself, and the team at large, into a good rhythm.

The entire Chiefs offense has been disjointed at best this year, but against a struggling Raiders defence, it’s hard to imagine that Kelce won’t have another big day, and this over/under is too low to ignore.

5/6
Travis Kelce Over Travis Kelce – Receiving Yds (53.5)

Brock Bowers – Over 61.5 yards receiving yards

Is Brock Bowers the best tight end in the league? Maybe not yet but it’s getting really hard to ignore the rookie sensation as at the very least a big part of the discussion. Not only does Bowers lead the Raiders in total yardage he leads the entire league in his position with 744 yards at 67.6 per game.

Like Kelce, he has been struggling to get into the end zone (three touchdowns this season) compared to some of his peers, so for both of these tight ends, receiving seems to be the way to go.

Brock Bowers Over Brock Bowers – Receiving Yds (61.5)

Patrick Mahomes – Over 250 total passing yards

No player has embodied this truly weird Chiefs offensive year than Patrick Mahomes. He has gotten over 300 yards passing just once, and over 275 just twice more. He’s still been as clutch as ever (the team has five walk-off victories this season), but you can feel the frustration coming from him.

After the 30-27 win over Carolina last week, Mahomes explicitly said, “You want to have some blowouts,” in response to a question about the team winning close games. This feels like the kind of game where he and the rest of the offense will come to life and put down a real statement.

11/10
Patrick Mahomes 250+ Yards Patrick Mahomes – Alt Passing Yds (250)

Over 42.5 points

Not only did these two cover this total in their last game, but only once in each of the last six games for either side would they have finished under. You know we’ve gone offense-heavy across the board with our picks and we’re finishing it off along a similar vein.
