Tennessee Titans @ Los Angeles Chargers
J.K. Dobbins Over 64.5 Rushing Yards
There are three reasons to back JK Dobbins to cover his rushing yard line on Sunday.
Firstly, while the Titans have been reasonable against the run, they have been excellent against the pass, allowing just 155.8 passing yards per game, the fewest in the NFL.
We also know that Jim Harbaugh loves the ground game and views it as an essential way to move the chains, a crucial part of his coaching identity.
Then, finally, Dobbins’ recent form.
He’s gone over 64.5 rushing yards in four of eight games so far, but last week, he went for 85 yards on just 14 carries in an excellent performance against the Browns.
Under 38.5 Total Points
Neither of these teams has an incredible offense.
Both are in the bottom nine in the NFL regarding points scored per game, with the Chargers 19.9 marginally ahead of the Titans.
However, both teams have good defenses and are ranked in the NFL’s top nine in DVOA.
Two suitable defensive units against two struggling offences are likely to result in a low-scoring game more often than not.
New York Jets @ Arizona Cardinals
Davante Adams anytime touchdown
Last week, we saw Davante Adams score his first touchdown in green as his Jets’ career finally took flight.
It’s been a couple of years since he was at his very best, but he’s still a hugely capable receiver, and most importantly, he has the trust of quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
He’s had 26 targets in just three weeks with the team, and with elite volume like that, he has a huge chance to score against this Cardinals’ secondary.
Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys
Philadelphia Eagles -7
The Eagles face a road trip to the Cowboys but should be very confident of leaving Dallas with the win and covering the 7-point spread.
The Eagles are 4-4 against the spread this season, but the Cowboys have a terrible record and have covered just twice.
They now face an Eagles team who are unbeaten in four and must play them while missing quarterback Dak Prescott.
Cooper Rush isn’t of the same level, and given the Cowboys’ struggles on offense and defense this season, it’s hard to see them staying within a score of the Eagles.
Saquon Barkley Anytime Touchdown
Saquon Barkley has been a revelation since arriving in Philadelphia.
He’s always been one of the most gifted players in the NFL, but now he’s healthy and, crucially, playing in a functional offense with an excellent offensive line, he looks incredible.
He’s already had five 100+ rushing-yard games and scored eight touchdowns in eight games.
The Cowboys’ defense isn’t at its usual levels this season and averages more than one TD allowed to running backs per game.
