9:05pm – Chicago Bears @ Arizona Cardinals
Kyler Murray Under 218.5 Passing Yards
The release of a new Call of Duty game always gives rise to the worst kind of banter about Kyler Murray and his love of the franchise, with his stats noticeably declining after each release each season. The QB has already hit back on social media around this. but unfortunately, he’s likely to see a dip here, but it’ll be due to the opposition. The Bears are strong against the pass, giving up just 199 yards through the air all season. Murray has averaged 204.7 yards per game, that’s over 10 yards short of the line here. Take the Under, as this Bears defense are sneaky good.
9:05pm – Jacksonville Jaguars @ Philadelphia Eagles
Evan Engram Anytime Touchdown
It’s Evan Engram time in Jacksonville. He’s had three games since returning from injury, and had 19 catches and a touchdown to his name. He’s also about to get a lot more targets. Christian Kirk is out and Brian Thomas Jr is also questionable to play. Even if Thomas returns, we’re still going to see an uptick in work for Engram. Last season he averaged 7.5 targets with Kirk in the team and 10.2 targets per game when he was out. An increase in volume makes him a viable anytime touchdown candidate this week.
AJ Brown Anytime Touchdown
Last week’s game at the Bengals was the first in which AJ Brown failed to score. Admittedly it was only his fourth game of the campaign, but he’s the key player in this offense, and the main red zone target when healthy. He faces a Jaguars team who gives up an average of over one touchdown per game to wide receivers and average 271.9 passing yards against per game, making them the second worst defense in the league against the pass.
9:25pm – Detroit Lions @ Green Bay Packers
Sam LaPorta Anytime Touchdown
For the first month of the season we didn’t see Sam LaPorta find the end zone and despite the Lions still winning, there were questions asked about the tight end’s usage this season. Fortunately he’s scored in two of the past three weeks and had his highest amount of targets and catches last week. The Packers have given up the fifth most yardage to tight ends this season and allowed three TDs to the position. At a big price it’s worth backing SLP to continue his fine form and get another touchdown.
9:25pm – Los Angeles Rams @ Seattle Seahawks
LA Rams to win
It’s always tough to predict divisions and this NFC West battle is close in terms of odds. However, the recent returns of Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua lean the outcome in favour of the Rams. They won their second successive game last week, with the receiving duo making a combined 12 catches for 157 yards, and a score. They’ve got healthy and should be able to get the better of their divisional rivals.
