Here comes Week 3 of the NFL season and we hope you’ve packed your cleats for a cracking evening of crunching tackles, incredible touchdowns and the occasional 50+ yard overtime field goal kick because we’ve got a cracking 6pm Sunday bet for you.

Alvin Kamara Anytime Touchdown

It has been an incredible start to the season for the New Orleans Saints. The Derek Carr-led Saints offence scored points on each of its first 15 possessions in the 2024 season and a big part of that has been the explosive play of running back Alvin Kamara.

Already a star in New Orleans, Kamara is scoring at a rate he’s never achieved before this early in a season. His four-touchdown outing against the Dallas Cowboys puts him top of the NFL touchdown table and against a team allowing 158 rushing yards per game this season Kamara’s total should just continue to rise.

Rashid Shaheed Over 49.5 Receiving Yards

While Kamara, Carr and wide receiver Chris Olave usually take the headlines for New Orleans the emergence of Rashid Shaheed as one of the most consistent deep threats in the NFL has been a huge boost to the offence.

Originally signed for his ability in the kick return game, Shaheed has carved out a role as a deep threat receiver, with blazing speed I wouldn’t be shocked to see the Saints number 22 go over his receiving yards line on just one catch.

Green Bay Packers @ Tennessee Titans

Moneyline: Packers

Without Jordan Love last week the Green Bay Packers put on a lesson in how to win ugly. Back-up QB Malik Willis is a below average passer, but a threat in the running game, and Green Bay have one of the best offensive lines in the business. Led by Josh Jacobs the Packers amassed 261 rushing yards and their defence was good enough to contain Anthony Richardson and the Indianapolis Colts.

The Tennessee Titans have lost both of their games 24-17 and seen quarterback Will Levis throw horrible interceptions in back-to-back weeks. It could be a tough season for Titans fans.  I fancied the Packers to win this game even before the story that Love might be available broke and I’m even more confident now.

Chicago Bears @ Indianapolis Colts

Handicap: Colts -1.5 Points

The Indianapolis Colts are probably one of the unluckiest teams in the NFL at the moment. The lost a nail biter on opening day to the Houston Texans 29-27 before their last second drive ran out of time in Green Bay and they fell 16-10.

Facing another NFC North opponent this week I don’t think they’ll have the same struggles. First overall pick Caleb Williams is yet to throw a touchdown for the Chicago Bears and the Colts defence will want to keep him under control again. Richardson and Jonathan Taylor pose a real threat to the Bears and should be enough for the Colts to ride to victory.
