NFL Week 1 Bets

9:05pm – Denver Broncos @ Seattle Seahawks
Over 67.5 Rushing Yards: Kenneth Walker III

9:05pm – Las Vegas Raiders @ Los Angeles Chargers
Anytime Touchdown: JK Dobbins
Over 34.5 Receiving Yards: Brock Bowers

9:25pm – Dallas Cowboys @ Cleveland Browns
Total Points: Under 40.5

9:25pm – Washington Commanders @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Over 24.5 Receiving Yards: Zach Ertz

9:05pm – Denver Broncos @ Seattle Seahawks

Over 67.5 Rushing Yards: Kenneth Walker III

We’re taking the Seahawks’ running back Kenneth Walker to get Over 67.5 rushing yards against a team who gave up the third-most rushing yards in the NFL last season. The ground game has always been a part of the Seahawks identity and will continue to be so, even with a new coaching staff.

The Seahawks are also 5.5-point favourites, so if they get a lead we’re even more likely to see them lean on the wall, meaning that Walker should be in for a big day against what was previously one of the worst defenses against the run.

9:05pm – Las Vegas Raiders @ Los Angeles Chargers

Anytime Touchdown: JK Dobbins

JK Dobbins came into the NFL as a great prospect but his three years in Baltimore were riddled with injuries, meaning that he’s yet to get anywhere near a 1,000 yard rushing season. He’s now in LA and if he can stay on the field there’s a real potential that he explodes.

The ground game is a key part of everything Jim Harbaugh has ever done as a coach so we can expect it to be integral to his new-look Chargers, especially with the recruitment made in the offensive line this offseason. Dobbins is second on the depth chart to Gus Edwards but he’s the more talented back and a big price to score a TD here.

Over 34.5 Receiving Yards: Brock Bowers

When the Raiders selected Brock Bowers 13th overall in this year’s draft they knew they were getting a tight-end with the best profile in years, potentially ever. The former Georgia man had 31 touchdowns in three seasons and showcased an incredible amount of talent.

Even with Davante Adams as the premier pass catcher in Vegas, and a real lack of genuine quality at quarterback, we can still expect a big season from Bowers and he’ll be the second receiving option on this offense and should cover his yardage total.

9:25pm – Dallas Cowboys @ Cleveland Browns

 Under 40.5 Total Points

The Cowboys trip to Cleveland is the biggest game in this late slate but it might not be the most exciting for those wanting lots of high-powered offense. The teams are projected to be two of the top five defenses in the NFL with the Browns arguably the best, which should keep the score fairly low.

There’s also problems on offense. The Browns have Deshaun Watson at QB and he’s really struggled to reach anywhere close to expectations since arriving from Houston, and the Cowboys offense looks poorer this season. The offensive line is downgraded, the running back room is devoid of any top talent and CeeDee Lamb, their star WR, comes into this game after a summer without much training and might not hit the ground running.

9:25pm Washington Commanders @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Over 24.5 Receiving Yards: Zach Ertz

Only three teams allowed more yardage to tight-ends last season than the Tampa Bay Buccaneers which means our eyes have to be locked on Zach Ertz, with the veteran TE an experienced and solid option in the passing game.

He’s going to be linking up with Jayden Daniels, taken second overall in this year’s NFL Draft, and if there’s one thing we know about rookie quarterbacks it’s that they love their tight-ends, who often act as a safety valve when pressure arrives. Ertz could get plenty of targets against a poor defense in terms of stopping TEs, which should translate to him covering 24.5 receiving yards.
