NFL Tips: Here’s our 21/1 Multi-Match Bet Builder for Sunday night’s games

ridiron guru Sam Farley gives us the lowdown on Sunday night's NFL games, including the Steelers against the Seahawks

Sunday’s 9pm NFL Tips

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Seattle Seahawks (9:05pm)

Najee Harris Over 54.4 Rushing Yards
Pat Freiermuth Over 23.5 Receiving Yards

Cincinnati Bengals @ Kansas City Chiefs (9:25pm)

Rashee Rice Over 5.5 Receptions
Travis Kelce to score a touchdown

Los Angeles Chargers @ Denver Broncos (9:25pm)

Total Points: Over 36.5

We only have three games in this week’s late NFL slate but we have some interesting games. The Steelers face a trip to Seattle to face the Seahawks in front of the 12. The Chiefs look to get back to winning ways against the Bengals. Finally, the Chargers face the Broncos who will be without Russell Wilson who has been benched.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Seattle Seahawks (9:05pm)

Najee Harris Over 54.4 Rushing Yards

This season has been a brutal one for any Najee Harris truthers, with the Steelers’ RB losing a lot of work to Jaylen Warren. His rushing yard line for this game stands at 54.5, a target that I believe he’ll cover against the Seahawks who have allowed the sixth most rushing yards in the NFL.

It’s a number he’s covered in three of the last five weeks including last week’s 78 yards against the Bengals. I think we’re likely to see him heavily used again here, continuing on from last week where he had double the carries of Warren.

Pat Freiermuth Over 23.5 Receiving Yards

We’ve seen a mixed return from Pat Freiermuth this season. Since returning from injury in Week 11 he’s had one big performance in five games which saw him have 120 receiving yards. In the other four games he hasn’t hit that number combined.

He’s still seen plenty of targets with 27 in the past four games and having missed last week he should be well rested and ready to play. The Seahawks have allowed an average of 55.4 yards to TEs this season and Freiermuth should be able to feast here.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Kansas City Chiefs (9:25pm)

Rashee Rice Over 5.5 Receptions

The Chiefs have really struggled in recent months but Rashee Rice has been one of the few bright spots. Rice has become a key part of this offense and behind Travis Kelce is Patrick Mahomes’ favorite target.
In the past five games he’s caught 38 passes, with his lowest total being six last week. With Rashee Rice’s reception line at 5.5 we are surely going to see the Over land here. Not only has he had 38 catches in five games he’s had a huge 50 targets, an average of 10 per game.

Travis Kelce to score a touchdown

With only five touchdowns on the season there are serious questions being asked of Travis Kelce. Over the past few years he’s been the best tightend in the league and is almost certainly going to be a Hall of Famer. However his performances have echoed the Chiefs’ struggles, the question is how much are they influencing his, and vice versa.

His last score was back in Week 11 and since then he’s not found the endzone, despite continuing to be heavily targeted. He’s still the Chiefs’ best player and I think we’ll see him score again soon, and what better time than now. He’s still the focal point of the passing game and should get opportunities against the Bengals.

Los Angeles Chargers @ Denver Broncos (9:25pm)

Over 36.5 Total Points

We have a couple of low totals on the board this Sunday but none are as low as 36.5 total points in the Chargers at Broncos. We’ve seen this line move from 39.5 down three points to 36.5 and I’m buying the dip.

We know both teams will be starting backup quarterbacks in Easton Stick for the Chargers and Jarret Stidham for the Broncos, who has got the starting job with news that the Broncos are looking to move on from Russell Wilson and don’t want to be on the hook financially should he play and get injured.

Regardless of who starts at QB these are two poor defenses, with the Chargers and Broncos ranked 29th and 30th in the NFL by defensive DVOA. There will bechances for both teams to rack up the scoring no matter who is throwing the football. I think the market has swung too far by dropping the total to 36.5 and now the Over is the smart play.
