LA Chargers @ Las Vegas Raiders Bet Builder Tips

Moneyline: Raiders to Win
Total Points: Under 34
Easton Stick: Under 190.5 Passing Yards
Austin Ekeler: Over 27.5 Receiving Yards
Joshua Kelley: Over 18.5 Rushing Yards

Aidan O’Connell, Easton Stick.

It reads more like a regional manager and the name of his employer – a bloke in his mid-40s from the west of Ireland who sells adhesives.

But no, tragically for us, that’s the quarterback pairing for Thursday Night Football.

We’ve really had some stinkers this year, but this might be the best – or should that be worst? – of the lot. Not only have these teams underachieved massively in their own respect, but they’re being made look even worse because the Broncos are appear semi-functional and the Chiefs are somehow worse than they’ve been in seven years.

But what can this matchup prove for either teams? Possibly the extent of dysfunction in Vegas outweighs the lack of discipline in Los Angeles.

While it might be the AFC West, it most definitely not the AFC’s Best, but at least we can capitalise on their severe lack of effort and make a few bob.

Raiders to Win

Full disclosure: I have a Justin Herbert picture on my wall. I’m a bona fide Chargers fan, and believe me when I tell you that I know how this team operates.

They’re incredibly consistent and the most predictable team in the entire league.

There is absolutely no way on earth that they win this game.

Aidan O’Connell has played multiple times so far and looked almost-functional. Eason Stick is set for his first start, and he’s one of the worst backups in the league.

Everything will have to be short for him due to his lack of arm talent meaning the Raiders’ defenders can jump the routes and create turnovers.

If they win the turnover battle, the Chargers will have to try to force points scoring and then it’ll get ugly.

Total Points: Under 34

The Raiders just took part in the lowest-scoring NFL game for sixteen years. Their defense is genuinely quite good, and their offense moves the ball so slowly and methodically, that any off-schedule plays make it almost impossible to recover from.

Big plays do not exist here, and save for special teams, there simply won’t be enough time to score in quick fashion.

Ar

Easton Stick: Under 190.5 Passing Yards

None of Easton Stick’s passes will travel more than ten air yards.

So when you factor in all of the swing passes and screens that will lose yards, I reckon you’re going to need him to complete over twenty passes to get to that total.

There’s more hope of Gareth Southgate dropping Jordan Henderson.

Austin Ekeler: Over 27.5 Receiving Yards

Eason Stick will throw three types of passes here.

They are the following: Screen passes to Keenan Allen, comeback routes to Joshua Palmer and checkdowns to Austin Ekeler when he can’t process quickly enough.

The screens won’t win because of blocking, the comeback routes are too hard to complete, so that leaves us with Ekeler. Good luck.

Joshua Kelley: Over 18.5 Rushing Yards

The Chargers activated Isiah Spiller last week to split carries three ways.

He was rubbish, and they’re going to spare Ekeler carries between the tackles.

Kelley is by far the most efficient rusher on the Chargers and this total is deliciously low.
