Miami Dolphins @ Buffalo Bills

Raheem Mostert Anytime Touchdown

The biggest story from Week 3, by some distance, was the Miami Dolphins offensive explosion. Miami scored 70 points, the most in an NFL game since 1966 as they demolished the Denver Broncos 70-20. Rookie running back De’Von Achane burst on to the scene with four touchdowns and 233 total yards but, incredibly, he wasn’t even the only Miami RB to score four times.

Raheem Mostert’s quartet of scores takes his total for the season up to seven, three more than anybody else in the league. In a game that will, undoubtedly, be closer than the Denver game I’m expecting Miami Head Coach Mike McDaniel to lean on the more experienced Mostert and see him find the endzone for the fourth week in a row.

Josh Allen Over 268.5 Passing Yards

One Denver player who can feel a little hard done by after last week’s demolition is quarterback Russell Wilson. The veteran QB threw for over 300 yards and his only real mistake was an interception that came off a deflection. This week Miami will have to deal with Josh Allen, who flashed signs of his imperious best last week against Washington.
With Miami’s vaunted offence coming to town I’m expecting a shootout, and Allen’s passing line of 268.5 yards looks a touch too low in my eyes.

Washington Commanders @ Philadelphia Eagles

D’Andre Swift Anytime Touchdown

It’s been a high-profile week for the NFL and people called Swift… but not much of that attention has been on Eagles running back D’Andre Swift. While Taylor was making headlines watching her new beau in Kansas City D’Andre was shaking off tacklers with regularity against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The former Detroit rusher topped 100 yards for the second time in his short Philadelphia career and established himself as the Eagles’ lead back going into a game against an opponent he knows all too well. Swift has scored in both of his previous career games against Washington, including last season, and is a good bet to score again on Sunday.

Los Angeles Rams @ Indianapolis Colts

LA Rams Moneyline

Both sides come in to the game off the back of games against AFC North opponents. The Indianapolis Colts got a, somewhat controversial, upset win in overtime against the Baltimore Ravens while the LA Rams narrowly lost out to a Cincinnati Bengals side dealing with an injury to Joe Burrow.

Rams QB Matthew Stafford threw two interceptions and was sacked six times in that game and will look to bounce back on Sunday. Stafford has been without star wide receiver Cooper Kupp so far this year but rookie Puka Nacua is averaging 10 catches a game and Tutu Atwell already has more yards this season than in his last two years in the league combined, I’m expecting more high performance from the pair of them. It’s a tough one to call, but everything went right for the Colts last week and I can’t see the same happening again. I’m backing Stafford and the Rams on the moneyline.

Baltimore Ravens @ Cleveland Browns

Under 40.5 Points

Baltimore’s loss to the Colts last week came with a catalogue of errors as they battled through several key injuries on their offensive line. Indianapolis have a good, but not great, defence and were still able to take advantage of Baltimore’s weaknesses which doesn’t bode well when you’re facing Myles Garrett and the NFL’s best ranked defence in Week 4.

Garrett is a perennial Defensive Player of the Year contender and will look to get after Lamar Jackson with regularity. However, the Cleveland Browns are only 2.5 point favourites as Deshaun Watson and company are yet to really get going on offence themselves this term. With star runner Nick Chubb out injured I’d look for a low scoring affair in Cleveland.
