San Francisco 49ers @ Los Angeles Rams

Christian McCaffrey Anytime Touchdown

McCaffrey found the end zone last week against the Steelers and is clearly a key piece in the Niners offensive wheelhouse. Although the Rams beat the Seahawks in an all-NFC West clash last week I’m not convinced that they’re a great team and they should come unstuck against another divisional rival here. CMC is the most lethal threat on the 49ers offence and should be expected to score again here.

Washington Commanders @ Denver Broncos

Washington Commanders +3.5

The Broncos lost to the Raiders last week and come into this game at Mile High as favourites to the Commanders. Washington really didn’t beat the Cardinals in the manner expected and we saw some of the worst of QB Sam Howell. That said I’m not sure why they are 3.5 point underdogs against the Broncos.

As much as I respect Sean Payton as a coach I’m not buying into the Broncos this season or back into Russell Wilson. I didn’t see anything to change my mind last week and I’ll be taking the Commanders +3.5 on the spread.

New York Giants @ Arizona Cardinals

Darren Waller Anytime Touchdown

Let’s get it straight, the Giants were bad against the Cowboys last week but there were also some moments in that game that felt like bad luck. I’m expecting to see Darren Waller on the field this Sunday and he’ll be the main receiving option for Daniel Jones.

The Cardinals D is a step down from the Cowboys and I’d expect to see Brian Daboll’s team have more success with Darren Waller as the difference maker and the former Raiders man should score.

New York Jets @ Dallas Cowboys

Zach Wilson Under 174.5 passing yards

When you talk about downgrades you don’t get much bigger than going from Aaron Rodgers to Zach Wilson. It’s so unfortunate for the Jets that Rodgers got injured but for us bettors it gives us an opportunity.

We’ve seen Wilson struggle in a Jets uniform and now he faces a seriously talented defense. With that mind, and the brilliant performance of Breece Hall last week, I’m expecting to see the Jets rely on the run game and try to hide Wilson as best as they can. We’ll see lots of Hall and Dalvin Cook and Zach Wilson will go Under his 174.5 passing yard line.

Under 38.5 total points

Also in the Jets @ Cowboys game we’ll take the Under on total points at 38.5. I don’t believe that the Jets offense will be able to score enough points against one of the best defenses in football when they have Wilson under centre. I also think that the Cowboys will have a far harder task against the Jets defense than they did against that of the Giants last week. Expect a low scoring game here.
