The Super Bowl may well be America’s biggest sporting event – but there are plenty of people a bit more interested in the halftime show.
After two quarters of Super Bowl LVII between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs, one of the world’s biggest music artists will take to the field at the State Farm Stadium inGlendale, Arizona to belt out a few tunes.
A whole host of famous names including Eminem, The Weeknd and Lady Gaga have headlined the Super Bowl halftime show in recent years and, sometimes, the midway break provides more entertainment than the sport. Who can forget Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake in 2004?

Who is performing the Super Bowl 2023 halftime show?
Rihanna has been confirmed as the headline act for the Super Bowl 2023 halftime show on Sunday, February 12.
It represents a return to the stage for the Umbrella singer, who last released an album in 2016 having taken a step back from the music industry.
Rihanna has a pretty extensive back catalogue of bangers to pick from so expect a medley of hits to fill the 14-minute set.
Will there be any special guests? Nothing has been announced so far so you’ll have to watch it live if you really want to know.
What time does the Super Bowl 2023 halftime show start?
Get a coffee on the go as you’ll need to stay up through the night to catch Rihanna’s Super Bowl halftime show.
She is expected to take to the field from around 01:15 GMT for viewers in Ireland and the United Kingdom, which is nearly two hours after Super Bowl LVII kicks off.
If that wasn’t enough, there will be a bit of music right before the handegg gets underway as Country star Chris Stapleton – nope, not a clue either – will perform The Star-Spangled Banner.
