I’d have taken them minus two touchdowns in truth.
That’s not because I think they’re fifteen points better than them talent-wise, but primarily because the motivation to play for a franchise that seems to be collapsing is limited at best.
And given Philly start hot, the desire to try and keep up with that is questionable at best.
Philly’s ability to be dynamic is what makes them better at keeping scores up. Take a team like the Chargers for example – if they go up a big lead, they can’t run the ball well enough to run clock and keep possession.
They’re solely reliant on Justin Herbert’s arm. When they need to run it, they can’t.
Jalen Hurts can move it himself with his legs and that offensive line is still an elite unit in football so they can hand it off to Miles Sanders.

Darius Slay is playing like a man possessed. Given that McLaurin is the only real threat on this entire offense, it feels like them getting scores will have to be a gradual process or a piece of craftiness from the coaching booth.
They don’t have the resources to get either.
My only major concern here is that Philly keep racking up the scores. However, given their record and the fact they need to protect their players for the postseason, they’d likely take Hurts out.
Curtis Samuel – Over 40.5 Receiving Yards
If they do anything creative on this staff, it usually goes through Samuel. He’s also the chief crosser route runner which Philly will allow all night.
McLaurin will command all the man coverage while Samuel won’t be pressed and will go in motion. They might benefit from free yards but they’ll be harmless.
Antonio Gibson – Over 23.5 Receiving Yards
Same thing. Gibson will be the safest blanket when the pressure comes. He was out of favour early-season but that has totally changed now and he’s the primary third-down back for the Commanders.
