Seattle to Win
Tom Brady and Co. began the season with convincing wins away to the Dallas Cowboys and the New Orleans Saints, winning by 16 and 10 points but have only won two of their seven games since. They beat the Falcons by six points and the Rams last weekend by just three in the final move of the game. They’ve been lacklustre and, for all of Brady’s talents, the wily statesman of the NFL just cannot carry this team along as his offensive players just aren’t as good as what he’s previously had at his disposal.
WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
The Seahawks however have only lost three of their nine games this campaign and of their last four games have won by a margin of a minimum of ten points. They’re in the better form, they have the better players and Seattle have the confidence and plays to cause an upset here and take the win.
Under 44.5 Points
We’ve got a fairly high line to clear here but we see from the Seahawks’ games this season it’s a line that’s been covered in five of their nine games this season. However, the Pirates really let us down for the prospects of a high-scoring game here, only twice so far this season over their nine games has a line of 44.5 points been covered, the most recent was a 27-22 loss at home to the Baltimore Ravens while the other was a swashbuckling affair against the Kansas City Chiefs where they lost 41-31.
The problem is obvious, the Buccaneers aren’t scoring enough and in their attacking players make too many mistakes and they are rightly punished by their opponents. Of course this is something Todd Bowles and his team will be all too aware of but questions have been raised about his suitability for the job, after being promoted from being the team’s defensive coordinator for three seasons, is he too defensive because they’re certainly struggling when attacking.
That being said we see the Seahawks having the majority of the ball here and attacking more and as bad as Tampa’s results have been they’ve only conceded 20 points or more on three occasions this season. Unless we see a total Buc’s meltdown in defence we can’t see the line being covered in Munich.
Kenneth Walker III to Score Anytime
The NFL’s official YouTube channel just a day or two ago put out a video entitled ‘Why Kenneth Walker III is a Lock For Offensive Rookie of the Year’. There’s little more than needs saying about just how good Walker’s been for the Seahawks in his first year since turning professional.
He’s scored seven touchdowns this season and has scored one in all five of his most recent games. He’s just a joy to watch, he finds those wee cracks of light in opposing defensive lines and just goes for it when he sees a chance. In such good form we simply have to back Walker III to bag an Anytime Touchdown and add to his impressive tally for the season.
Geno Smith Under 236.5 Passing Yards
Geno Smith’s been outstanding this season too and thanks to a disciplined line in front of him he’s able to take that extra moment needed to scan the field and find the perfect pass. Now, why are we going with Unders here if he’s so good? Well, Smith doesn’t always go for the hail marys and huge passes, he will make long throws when he’s sure he’s got men in the touchdown zone but he rarely wastes a pass. He makes the correct pass and this season his past experiences of close calls and disappointments has really been built upon for him to become a better QB for his team.
In his last five games he’s only covered this line twice and here against Tampa Bay the Seahawks are going to have to be patient against a strong defence and will look to advance up the field slowly but surely before attacking the endzone when within close range. We see Smith having yet another good game here but it’ll be short, sharp passes that will unlock the Pirate’s defence so it’s Smith Under 236.5 Passing Yards.
