Sunday 1.15am: 49ers @ Packers – 49ers (+6) & Elijah Mitchell anytime TD scorer

TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports NFL

The San Francisco 49ers head to the frozen tundra to take on the Green Bay Packers in another mouth-watering clash. These teams are familiar foes and met in the NFC championship game two years ago when the 49ers hammered the Packers, with a dominant pass-rush and an overpowering run game.

San Francisco do have some injuries on defence but both Fred Warner and Nick Bosa are trending positively to play on Saturday night. Green Bay will be wary of the 49ers running the ball as they give up the third most yards per rush in the league. Aaron Rodgers is always formidable at home, but I just get the feeling that it’s going to be a close game and the 49ers getting six points on the handicap line looks too much too me.

Elijah Mitchell rushed 27 times for 96 yards and one touchdown in the 49ers’ Wild Card round win over the Cowboys. Mitchell, together with Deebo Samuel, allowed the 49ers to dictate the flow of the game and the rookie sixth round draft pick has cemented his place as the number one running back for San Francisco this season. He is getting over 20 carries a game and Mitchell should be backed to find the endzone again in this weekend.

Sunday 8pm: Rams @ Buccaneers – LA Rams Money line, over 48.5 points, Evans & Beckham anytime TD scorer

TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports NFL

The Rams have been a team I’ve been sweet on for the Super Bowl since the start of the season when they offloaded Jared Goff and got in Matty Stafford. I think they’ve got a good match up this weekend with a still slightly banged up Buccaneers so I’d take the Rams on the Money Line.

Tom Brady is without one of his premier pass catchers in Chris Godwin and could be missing two vital parts of his O line this weekend. This will be good news for Aaron Donald and the Rams D.

Both teams are offensive juggernauts and have showcased it all season. Brady finished the season as the passing leader with Stafford not too far behind, then the Rams had Cooper Kupp nearly break Calvin Johnson’s single season yards record.

They met early in the season and both teams combined for 58 points so Over 48.5 Total Points feels like a good play here. Odell Beckham has been a brilliant recruit for the Rams and Mike Evans is undoubtedly Tom Brady’s favourite target, both should be backed in the anytime TD markets.

Sunday 11.30pm: Bills @ Chiefs – Chiefs (-1.5) & Jerick McKinnon anytime TD scorer

TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports NFL

What a match we have in store as two in-form sides clash. These teams are thriving after a mid-season wobble, and we will be treated to a game between two of the very best QBs in the business, Josh Allen and Pat Mahomes. The Bills defeated the Chiefs in Arrowhead earlier in the season, but I fancy the Chiefs (-1.5) to turn the tables on Sunday and make the AFC championship game for the third year in a row.

The Chiefs offence is purring along, and I think they will have too much for the Bills. Jerick McKinnon rushed 12 times for 61 yards, catching all six of his targets for 81 yards and a touchdown in Kansas City’s Wild Card win over the Steelers. Injuries have handed Jerick McKinnon his chance to shine in the Chiefs’ high-powered attack, and he looks to be the best value in the anytime TD scorer markets, back McKinnon to score for the third game in a row.
