I’m going to side with the Arizona Cardinals (+3.5) in this one. I think if you ask 10 different people which way you think this game is going to go I think you get five saying one thing and five saying the other. It’s an incredibly tough game to call.
I’d be happy enough with a field-goal type handicap to back the Cardinals in this one. I don’t think either side has been particularly great coming into the game but one of the keys for me is looking at the injury reports coming out of Arizona and how it’s starting to look for them.
A number of players are in practice which means they’ll have further bodies available. It will undoubtedly make them stronger and I suppose the question will always be about Matthew Stafford. Can you trust him in situations like this? I’m not entirely sure. It could be a close game so I’m going with Arizona (+3.5).
I’m going for James Conner Anytime Touchdown scorer as well. It’s a bit of a risk given his injury issues but the indication coming out of the Cardinals camp seems to be that he is going to be involved, given that this is Monday night.
If so you’re getting a great price on an unbelievably good player scoring. He’s rushed 15 touchdowns this season and that includes one against the Seahawks last week. Crucially, he scored two touchdowns in each of the meetings with the Rams this season so if available he’s a great bet to go over again.
