Under 50.5 Total Points

Finally, we have a Thursday Night Football game that should be a cracker. If it wasn’t for some of the Packers missing players – most noticeably Davante Adams and Allen Lizard – I’d fancy the Overs here. But, the line has been set quite high and given the factors leading into the game, this could be the one to pick the Unders.

The Cardinals offense has been in great form of late and they’ve scored 30 or more points in six of their seven NFL outings to date. But, the absentees for Green Bay are playing their part in my decision to go with Under 50.5 points. Also, the last five Thursday Night Football games have gone under the 50.5-point line.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

James Conner Anytime TD

James Connor has scored six touchdowns already this season, as running the ball has been a quite successful route for the Cardinals to get over the goal line. Connor has also rushed for 40 or more yards in five of his last six games, and he should see a nice bit of the ball in this game too. Arizona are averaging 136.6 per game, and only four teams in the NFL have bettered them in that stat this term. He’s a player in fine fettle at the moment, and that’s why he’s selected to be our Anytime Touchdown scorer.

Chase Edmonds Over 42.5 Rushing Yards

We’ve touched on how the Cardinals like to run the ball above. But, on the flip side, the Packers are not doing well on Défense against the run. They’ve conceded on average 120.9 yards per game to that avenue of attack. The Bears managed to put up 140 running yards on the Packers when they played recently, so that shows how vulnerable they are to the ball being kept on the ground.

The Packers have only faced sides who really don’t tend to run with the ball much so far this season, but against the teams that do that, they’ve struggled. Chase Edmonds is sitting on an average of just shy of 47 rushing yards per game for the Cardinals at the moment. He has also hit 43 or more yards in three of his last four outings and he should beat his line in this one too.

AJ Green Over 44.5 Receiving Yards

Kyler Murray is blessed with options when it comes to this Cardinals Offense, they really are loaded in attack. The current receiving yards line for AJ Green is very achievable for him, when you consider that he is averaging 58 yards a game at present. Murray is only one of five NFL quarters already on over 2,000 passing yards this term too.

The Packers are not that bad on defence when it comes to passing yards giving up, they average about 210 yards per game in that regard. But, we’ve all seen just how good this Cardinals Offense can be. Backing Green have more than 44.5 yards is a solid addition to this Bet Builder, and it would have come up in four of his last five contest.

Arizona Cardinals v Green Bay Packers tips summary:

Under 50.5 Total Points
James Conner Anytime TD
Chase Edmonds Over 42.5 Rushing Yards
AJ Green Over 44.5 Receiving Yards
