After that pesky coronavirus bug forced NFL teams to stay on their side of the pond for the 2020 season, American Football is set to return to London. Yee-haw!
Other than last year there’s been at least one NFL game played in the UK capital since 2007 as part of the competition’s International Series. The bulk of the games took place at Wembley Stadium – the home of actual football – but Tottenham have since pinched the hosting rights.
NEW TO PADDY POWER?
The Jacksonville Jaguars – owned by Fulham’s moustachioed honcho Shahid Khan – are regulars in London and they’ll be joined by three teams in pitching up at Spurs’ shiny new stadium in 2021.
Below you’ll find the details of both NFL London 2021 games and Paddy Power’s Super Bowl odds ahead of the new season.
NFL London 2021 Games
Sunday October 10 – 2.30pm
New York Jets @ Atlanta Falcons
A battle between two teams with pretty dreadful records in 2020. The Falcons ended the season on a five-game losing streak to finish 4-12 while the Jets were even worse with a 2-14 record. It means the Jets were able to secure QB Zach Wilson with the second overall pick in the NFL Draft.
Sunday October 17 – 2.30pm
Miami Dolphins @ Jacksonville Jaguars
2020 was a year of major improvement for the Dolphins under Brian Flores as they went 10-6 to finish second in the AFC East. The same cannot be said for the Jaguars, who earned the wooden spoon in the AFC South with a terrible 1-15 record.
Super Bowl LVI Odds
