NFL Tips: Pack up our 13/1 Same Game Multi for Sunday’s NFL

We’ve touched down with your best bets for Week 6

Aaron Rodgers

The NFL rumbles on into Week 6, and after the upsets last week we are left with four unbeaten teams, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Tennessee and Seattle. The Seahawks are on a bye week along with the Chargers, Saints and Raiders, and the other three unbeaten teams will be looking to join them on 5-0.

Meanwhile, the hapless Falcons, Jets and Giants will be looking to win their first game of the season. Dan Quinn paid the price for the Atlanta’s abysmal start to the season during the week by becoming the second head coach to be fired. There’s plenty of intrigue in week 6 and our NFL trader Ian Dent has given us a treble for the early games on Sunday.

Early game treble: Vikings (-4.5), Panthers (-1.5) and Steelers (-3.5)

“The first leg is the Vikings, they got a bad beat in Seattle last week and are missing Dalvin Cook, but I rate their back-up Alexander Mattison and he will do a decent job filling in. The defence is a bit of a concern for the Vikings, but look at who they are playing! The Falcons are all over the place, they’ve sacked their coach and GM and they keep finding ways to lose, the Vikings are strong at home and I like them to win this.”

“The Panthers are my second leg. They continue to be underrated under new coach Matt Rhule. He’s done a great job getting the best out of players like Robby Anderson, while the Bears are a bit of a fraudulent 4-1 and I can’t see their luck lasting. Carolina can keep their good run going.”

“The final leg will be the Steelers at home to the Browns. They have a superb home record against the Browns, it’s really one-sided when Roethlisberger plays. The Steelers have a really good D as well as plenty of weapons at wide receiver, they continue to be undervalued.”

Same Game Multi: Packers win, over 55.5 points, Robert Tonyan & Mike Evans to score any time TDs

Every week Ian gives us a same game multi for the late Sky game, this week sees the Packers travel to Tampa Bay to take on the Buccaneers at 9:25pm.

“This will be a high-scoring game with two Hall of Fame QBs, the Packers especially have been scoring well and I think they will win. I can see both teams combining to score more than the total points line. Robert Tonyan has been a sleeper for the last couple of seasons, he exploded for three TDs in the last game and he looks the business around the goal line. Mike Evans is almost like a goal line RB, he has proved impossible to stop”.

Monday Night Football: Cowboys on the money line, Ezekiel Elliott first TD scorer

“I really don’t understand the pricing on this, The Cowboys are underdogs at home because of Dak Prescott’s injury. But, Andy Dalton is the best back-up in the league. The Cowboys still have a potent offence with all their WRs.

“The Cardinals are too reliant on Kyler Murray for me and I think the Cowboys will win. Ezekiel Elliott will get more goal-line carries with Prescott out, he looks the best bet for first TD scorer”.
