The Panthers imposed their will on a Dolphins unit that essentially gave up in the second half and has led to us getting a bigger price relative to my ratings. I’m not a fan of this Carolina offence that can find it hard to maintain any rhythm week to week.
Ron Rivera often finds himself out-coached by the opposite sideline if things go awry and I can see a solid edge for the Jets in terms of game planning/match strategy even with Carolina also coming off the bye.
This superstar Jaguars defence is carrying Blake Bortles to the playoffs. QB’s are only averaging 6.3 yards per attempt and a less than 55% completion rate. Both these stats do not bode well for Blaine Gabbert to have any success on Sunday. Both offences will rely on the run to keep the down markers ticking over and I see this game being a battle of field goals and one for the purists.
