Dublin Bus have been installed as second favourite behind Khabib Nurmagomedov to be Conor McGregor’s next opponent. Should he fight in the UFC again, it’s most probable at 2/1 that the Russian target of his trolley rage will be his next opponent, but with McGregor’s clear distaste for the four wheeled vehicles, Dublin Bus are now second favourite at 16/1.

Another possible opponent not to be ruled out is Bus Eireann (18/1), and trains and planes aren’t safe either, with Iarnród Éireann (20/1) and Aer Lingus (33/1) also on the list for a potential face off with the Notorious.

Following endless speculation that his New York rampage was part of a publicity stunt that went horribly wrong, we make it a 50/1 shot that Dana White will confirm his violent outburst was staged before the year is out. The chair, the guard rail, the drama – it’s got WWE written all over it doesn’t it?

It’s a far more likely 10/1 chance that McGregor will be hit with a lifetime ban from the UFC for his actions– and it’s 6/1 that he’ll sign a contract with the WWE this year.

If you’re someone who loves a long shot, we make it 500/1 that it will be against Dana White directly after tensions ignited between the pair following McGregor’s outrageous behaviour last Thursday night. And should he fall completely out of favour with the UFC boss, it’s a tempting 14/1 that McGregor stages a boxing match under his own promotion and it’s 20/1 that he’ll fight for Bellator before the end of the year.

McGregor’s violent outburst has been box office news for the past few days. But I think everyone needs to spare a thought for the innocent buses, they’ve been getting an awful time in the world of sport this week.

McGregor’s next opponent:

Khabib Nurmagomedov – 2/1
Dana White – 500/1
Dublin Bus – 16/1
Bus Eireann – 18/1
Iarnrod Eireann – 20/1
Aer Lingus – 33/1

McGregor Special odds:

For the incident to be revealed as a massive PR stunt – 50/1
McGregor to be handed a lifetime ban from UFC in 2018 – 10/1
McGregor to sign a contract with WWE in 2018 – 6/1
McGregor to appear in the ring at Wrestlemania 34 – 25/1
McGregor to team with Ronda Rousey at Westlemania 34 vs Triple H and Stephanie McMahon – 100/1
McGregor not to fight in UFC in 2018 – 1/5
McGregor to sign to fight for Bellator in 2018 – 20/1
Michael Chiesa to sue McGregor – 2/1
McGregor to fight Khabib in 2018 – 3/1
A boxing match to take place under his own promotion by the end of 2018 – 14/1
