WATCH: Francis Ngannou puts Alistair Overeem into orbit with one-punch KO at UFC 218

Being punched in the face is not fun. But being punched in the face by a 6’4″, 18-stone martial artist, you would imagine, is a whole other world of no thanks. Even if you are, in fact, a 6’5″, 19-stone martial artist.

At UFC 218 last night, French-Cameroonian fighter Francis Ngannou delivered one of the most shudder-inducing hits ever seen in the sport, with a thundering one-punch knockout on Alistair Overeem.

Scary stuff. You have to hope there’s no lasting damage for Overeem.
