Could it be possible that Conor McGregor might have had one too many cans of Coca-Cola, Sprite, or whatever is his sugary soft-drink of choice, at Bellator 187 in Dublin last night?
On first viewing, certainly, it looks as if the UFC superstar was on a bit of a sugar-rush as he vaulted into the Octagon at the conclusion of the bout between Charlie Ward (his SBG stable-mate) and John Redmond.
Keen to get a piece of Charlie, McGregor leaped joyfully on top of Ward, and the two men tumbled to the ground in an embrace – though it appeared as if the latter was at first slightly taken aback.
Eventually, the two were separated by puzzled officials, who may have felt that The Notorious had crossed a line in actually entering the Octagon. But McGregor appeared to become a little upset as a result of this and ended up shoving one of the officials.
