MMA fans in the UK have a new superstar to look up to in Liverpool’s Darren Till if last night’s evidence is anything to go by.
Till stepped into the octagon to face the legendary Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone at UFC Fight Night 118 in Gdansk, Poland as an underdog in the minds of the experts and even the betting.
That was mainly due to the fact that the extremely popular Cerrone has fought some of the greats in the game including the likes of Nate Diaz, Anthony Pettis, Eddie Alvarez and Robbie Lawler.

However, Till was in no mood to let got over his unbeaten record and shocked the MMA world by dispatching the Cowboy with a wonderful flurry of punches and elbows inside the first round last night. That stoppage was also a hammer fist to our face as eight punters called the 8/1 shot of Till to win by KO in round one.
