A pair of Group 1s share top billing on the fourth and penultimate day of Royal Ascot 2022.
A bumper field of three-year-old sprinters go to post for the Commonwealth Cup at 3.05pm including Sandy Lane Stakes scorer El Caballo, course-and-distance winners Go Bears Go and Ehraz, and last year’s Norfolk Stakes hero Perfect Power, who drops back in trip after a disappointing seventh in the 2000 Guineas.
1000 Guineas heroine Cachet will be on show in the Coronation Stakes at 4.20pm but all eyes will be on Inspiral, last season’s leading two-year-old filly, who makes her seasonal reappearance with Frankie Dettori in the saddle.
There is also Group 2 action in the King Edward VII Stakes which sees Fairway Stakes winner Ottoman Fleet face Epsom Derby fifth Changingoftheguard at 5.35pm.
