We’ve got a fantastic weekend of sport to get our teeth into. The Grand National and the final day of action at Aintree, Premier League football, the Masters and there’s also F1, boxing and UFC!
So it made sense for us at Paddy Power to check out a Grand National and Masters double.
After studying the Grand National card and keeping a close eye on the Masters, we’ve got a tidy double in mind.
Willie Mullins’ Agusta Gold (geddit?!) runs in the big one at 5:15pm on Saturday.
The nine-year-old is an outsider in the Aintree showpiece and he’s currently around 100/1, however, you can never write off Ireland’s champion trainer Mullins.
While it seems unlikely Agusta Gold will win the Grand National, Paddy Power are offering a ‘To Finish in the Top 10‘ market.
And with the Grand National at Aintree being the most unpredictable race in the world, it could be worth a look.
With our horse racing selection sorted, we’re turning our attention to the Masters.
Scottie Scheffler is flying heading into Round 3 on Saturday, with the American boasting a five-shot lead.
Despite Scheffler’s domination, all eyes have been on Tiger Woods this week. The 46-year-old made the cut after finishing one over at Augusta.
Woods shot 71 in his first round since his car crash in 2021 and followed that up with a 74 on Friday.
Speaking after making the cut, Woods seemed confident and ready to perform in Round 3 on Saturday, saying: “It was a good fight, I’m in the ball game and Saturday is a big day.”
The 15/1 Grand National & Masters double worth checking out today
It would be a nice little earner.
