Showed plenty when runner-up at Chepstow in October but disappointed bearing in mind that promise when mid-field at Wincanton (15.2f, good to soft) on Boxing Day. May well get back on track after a break.

Date Course/Class Pos Jockey Type Dist. Gng. HDGR WGT
26/12/22 Wincanton 5/17 Ben Jones Bumper 1m 7f 50y Gd/Sft 11st 0lbs
25/10/22 Chepstow 2/12 Finn Lambert Bumper 2m 11y Gd/Sft 10st 13lbs

£30,000 3-y-o, Soldier of Fortune gelding. Dam, fair maiden jumper (stayed 21f), half-sister to very smart hurdler (stayed 2½m) Blue Heron.

Blue Bresil gelding who was pulled up sole start in points but shaped with a fair degree of promise under a considerate ride when runner-up in a C&D bumper just over 6 weeks ago, keeping on when hampered 1f out. Better to come.

Date Course/Class Pos Jockey Type Dist. Gng. HDGR WGT
03/02/23 Chepstow 2/14 Harry Skelton Bumper 2m 11y Good 11st 2lbs

Diamond Boy gelding who shaped well when runner-up in a Plumpton bumper (17.8f, soft) 3 months ago, a patient ride no disadvantage in what was a well-run race. Serious shout of going one place better here.

Date Course/Class Pos Jockey Type Dist. Gng. HDGR WGT
20/12/22 Plumpton 2/11 Gavin Sheehan Bumper 2m 1f 164y Soft 11st 0lbs

Walk In The Park gelding. Half-brother to fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser St Barts. Dam (h103), bumper/21f hurdle winner, half-sister to bumper winner/fairly useful hurdler (stayed 23f) Mr Showtime.

£70,000 4-y-o, Ask gelding. Successful sole start in Irish points (Nov 20) so he's one to look out for, especially if the market speaks in his favour.

€41,000 3-y-o, Getaway gelding. Dam, 2¼m/19f hurdle winner in France, sister to useful hurdler/fairly useful chase winner in France (15f-17f winner) Libranous. Wears tongue strap.

£60,000 4-y-o, Westerner mare. Dam, poor maiden hurdler (stayed 2½m), half-sister to fairly useful 19f hurdle winner Limestone Rock. Third sole start in Irish points (Nov 13) so one for the shortlist.

Fairly Ransom gelding. Dam multiple point winner. Fell both starts in Irish points (every chance when doing so at the last second time, Jan 15).

€68,000 3-y-o, Petillo gelding. Half-brother to French chaser Harry Brown and chaser Etoile des Vernes. Dam unraced half-sister to fairly useful hurdler (stayed 2½m) Trop Fort. Finished fourth all 3 starts in Irish points (Oct 2022, third one).

€85,000 3-y-o, Flemensfirth gelding. Half-brother to fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser Drumlee Sunset and fair hurdler Land League, stayed 21f. Noteworthy newcomer.
