Cheltenham Race Card Today: Your ultimate guide to Day 2 on Wednesday

Let's go again!

Ballyburn Cheltenham

The first day of the Cheltenham Festival lived up to the hype and the good news is we get to do it all again today!

The Queen Mother Champion Chase tops the bill as the headline act, Jonbon, attempts to land that elusive victory at the mega meet after second-place finishes in the 2022 Supreme Novices’ Hurdle and 2023 Arkle Novices’ Chase.

There is a jam-packed afternoon of action before we get to the feature and it begins with a red-hot renewal of the Turners Novices’ Hurdle as Final Demand, The New Lion and The Yellow Clay face off.

The next race on the schedule, the Brown Advisory Novices’ Chase, looks equally tricky as Ballyburn meets stablemate Dancing City and the Gordon Elliott-trained Better Days Ahead.

There is further Grade 1 action courtesy of the last contest, the Champion Bumper, and racegoers will head home singing the Barry Manilow tune if Copacabana romps to victory.

Cheltenham Festival odds can be found on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app, otherwise, everything you need to know about today’s action at Prestbury Park is below.
