The Cheltenham Festival rolls into Day 2 on Wednesday, and top social media tipsters, The Winners Enclosure, have built a tasty accumulator for the second day of racing in the Cotswolds.

Cheltenham Accumulator Betting Tips for Wednesday

13:20 Final Demand
16:00 Jonbon
16:40 Unexpected Party (each-way)

More Cheltenham Festival tips can be found over at The Winners Enclosure, including specific tips for day 2 of the festival as well as daily accumulators, Lucky 15, and Dark Horse picks.

13:20 Final Demand

The opening race of Wednesday appears, on paper at least, to be a two-horse race between FINAL DEMAND and The New Lion, but our strong preference is for the Irish raider.

He’s run just twice under rules, starting out with a comfortable win at Limerick before blowing the competition away at Leopardstown with a 12-length victory over a tidy field that included the 2024 Champion Bumper winner.

Trainer Willie Mullins and jockey Paul Townend have won this race for the last three years in a row, and pair up again with our pick.

16:00 Jonbon to win

The feature race of the day sees superstar JONBON strongly fancied to add to his nine Grade 1 victories.

Trainer Nicky Henderson has an excellent record in this race, winning in 2016 with Sprinter Sacre and in 2018 and 2019 with Altior. Previous winner Energumene sits third in the betting for Willie Mullins but was beaten by over 6 lengths in January by Jonbon when these two last met, and will have a lot to do to turn that form around.

Jonbon is unbeaten in his last five races – a run that includes four Grade 1 victories plus a Grade 2 here at Cheltenham.

Jonbon Win or Each Way

16:40 Unexpected Party (each-way)

The winner of this race last year, Dan Skelton’s charge, UNEXPECTED PARTY, is just six pounds higher as he lines up to attempt to retain his crown. To give ourselves some leeway, we’re backing him each-way here.

He’s had a solid season where he’s been highly tried, including in a Grade 2 here in November, but his last run in January was solid, and he had excuses for not finishing closer to the winner, including losing a shoe.

He’s obviously proven at this course and distance, and it clearly is the right distance for him – two miles with the stiff hill finish seems to bring out the best in him.

His jumping is generally very solid, having never fallen in 24 starts, and his course experience will also be a plus. If he can stay out of trouble and remain covered up inside this 20-strong field, he can be produced late to challenge for the win.
