Which jockeys have the best form at Cheltenham this season?

Giddy-up!

Paul Townend

Once again the leading jockeys will be competing for the most wins at the 2025 Cheltenham Festival, but who’s likely to come out on top?

It’s no surprise that Willie Mullins’ top rider and last year’s Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Paul Townend is the odds-on favourite with Paddy Power to win the Top Jockeys’ gong for the fourth year in a row.

Galopin Des Champs is the red-hot favourite to complete a hat-trick in the Gold Cup, while Townend will also get his choice of Mullins’ best novices including Supreme fancy Kopek Des Bordes.

Jack Kennedy has recovered from a broken leg in time to do the steering on Gordon Elliott’s best horses, while Nico De Boinville is Nicky Henderson’s top man and he could have a prolific week with Constitution Hill, Jonbon and Lulamba among his best chances.

The ride given by a jockey can make or break a horse’s chances at the Cheltenham Festival and the fact we’ve already had five meetings at the track this season provides a few clues as to who has mastered the course.

You can run the rule over the Cheltenham Festival odds on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app, otherwise, here’s the form of the top jockeys at Prestbury Park this season.
