NINA CARBERRY
Jade De Grugy has looked very professional. I was impressed with her performance at Leopardstown at Christmastime. She nearly did everything herself.
She can do everything. She can make the running, she can drop in, she’ll be in the box seat all the way. It will give Brighterdaysahead something to aim at, but she will take a bit of whacking.
She hasn’t come up against anything to the standard of Brighterdaysahead yet, so I think it will be a good race. My only worry with Brighterdaysahead is she might be a bit raw.
Whereas Jade De Grugy looks the ready-made article now, and she’s hurdling very well, she’s finishing out races very well. She does look rock solid.
Brighterdaysahead will be the better filly over time, but, on the day, I would go with Jade De Grugy. She looks rock solid.
