The mares are ready!

Cheltenham Festival 2023: Day Four. Mrs Paddy Power Mares' Chase.

Comments

The penultimate race at the Cheltenham Festival is once again sponsored by us – the Mrs Paddy Power Mares’ Chase.

It’s a Grade 2 contest run over a distance of 2m ½f on the New Course as the talented group of girls battle it out for the top prize in the mares’ programme. The race was added to the schedule in 2021 so it’s still relatively new. It is restricted to mares aged five or older and they will face a total of seventeen fences.

Impervious, trained by Colm Murphy, claimed victory last year and was followed home by Willie Mullins’ Allegorie De Vassy, who is likely to run again, in a thrilling finish.

You can run the rule over our Mrs Paddy Power Mares’ Chase odds on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app, otherwise, all the key details about this year’s renewal can be found below.
