Pertemps Network Final qualification races and eligible horses for Cheltenham Festival 2023

The Pertemps Network Final Handicap Hurdle is one of the big betting races on Thursday at the Cheltenham Festival.

The contest always attracts a bumper field of runners due to the riches on offer to connections of horses that would otherwise fall short of the standard required for the top level.

A top-six finish in one of the many qualification races was required to become eligible to run in the final, but the rules have changed for the current campaign. A horse must now place in the first four to punch their ticket for March’s showpiece.
