You’re spoilt for choice with seven quality races on each day, and the 2022 Cheltenham Festival starts with a bang with the Grade 1 double helping of the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle and Arkle Chase, while the Champion Hurdle featuring the incredible Honeysuckle is the feature race on Tuesday.
Round two of Shishkin v Energumene is set to follow in Wednesday’s big race, the Champion Chase, while Tiger Roll could make his final racecourse appearance as he goes for a sixth Festival success in the Cross Country Chase.
Thursday – St Patrick’s Day, just in case you forgot – is all about the Paddy Power Stayers’ Hurdle and it looks like a wide-open renewal with last year’s winner Flooring Porter set to face Irish rival Klassical Dream and home contenders Champ and Paisley Park.
