Cheltenham Festival bigwigs have revealed entry lists for the four novice chases as the fields begin to take shape with less than eight weeks to go until this year’s four-day fiesta.

Ferny Hollow, the 2020 Champion Bumper winner, is the hot favourite for the first chase of the meeting after an unbeaten start to life over fences including a 1½l defeat of Riviere D’etel at Leopardstown on Boxing Day.

The Alan King-trained Edwardstone leads the British charge after Grade 1 victories on his last two starts at Sandown and Kempton.
