17:30 – Solomon Coop
Skontonovski is an interesting runner in having his first run since leaving Adrian McGuinness but I’m with Solomon Coop. He’s open to more improvement and it’s interesting to see Jack Kearney on board for Eamonn O’Connell. Solomon Coop has performed well on his last three runs on the all-weather track. He won at Dundalk a couple of runs ago and he was impressive when fourth over course and distance last month.
18:00 – Camachero
I’m hoping there’s going to be a good gallop in the race as that will suit Camachero from stall 15. There will likely be a couple of frontrunners for him to aim at and that should bring out the best in him. He’s dropping from a mile to 7f and that should suit. His third at Dundalk in January was solid and he’s only gone up 1lb for that. He’s unexposed and he’ll be hard to beat if he repeats his last run.
18:30 – Billie Frechette
Billie Frechette ran over hurdles at Wexford a couple of weeks ago and moving back to the all-weather should really suit. Going up in trip to 2m is also good for her and she can build on finishing third at Wexford. That run was after a few months off the track and a mark of 55 is a great opportunity for her to get off the mark. She’s the one to beat and the Noel Meade yard are in good form too.
19:00 – Lady Iman
Lady Iman should be hard to beat for Ger Lyons. She’s a Starman filly and an interesting newcomer. She’s a half-sister to West Acre who has been impressing in Dubai. Her pedigree suggests she’ll love the surface and she should be a nice filly in the making.
19:30 – Mallavelly
Elana Osario could top the market and she will be popular but I’m taking her on with Mallavelly. She has decent form in the UK and she’s making her polytrack debut. She has the hood and the tongue strap on for the first time and I’m taking a chance on her as she should be a better value pick.

20:00 – Propose (NAP)
Ryan Moore and Aidan O’Brien team up with Propose and it’s his only ride at Dundalk on Friday night. He was seventh of 27 in a maiden at the Curragh last November on his debut and I was impressed that day. He was green then and he’s now stepping up from a mile to 1m2f. He can show plenty of improvement and he should be hard to beat.
20:30 – Chopsticks
Tyder, Randall Poets Lass and Dynamite Defense could both go well but I’m on Chopsticks. There’s a lot of deadwood in this race and Chopsticks won’t have a better opportunity to win. Shane Foley knows him well and he can build on his third over course and distance in January.
