16:20 Greydreambeliever
After the promise she showed last year, GREYDREAMBELIEVER looks to have been found a good opportunity to start her 3yo campaign with a win, despite having to concede weight all around. Glamour Show is a clear second best on what we have seen so far.
16:55 Marvelman
2,000 Guineas and Irish 2,000 Guineas entry Shameful did it nicely on his sole 2yo start and should have more to offer over this extra furlong, but he might struggle to give 7lb to MARVELMAN, who has been allotted a BHA mark of 81. Westington House is a newcomer to note.
17:30 Fearnot
As in the first division, a penalised Clive Cox colt takes on a thrice-raced Andrew Balding runner with a fair BHA mark. FEARNOT looked good at Wolverhampton 18 days ago and can follow up. White Crown Star is the only real alternative.
18:00 McIntosh
Final Night is one to bear in mind in the coming weeks, but he faces a couple of nice types at the top of the weights here in MCINTOSH and Lady Manzor. Amanda Perrett’s filly isn’t passed over lightly in her hat-trick bid, but the selection could have more to offer now, especially in handicapping at this new trip.

18:30 Macedonian (NAP)
Much the most appealing option is MACEDONIAN (NAP) who made a winning start to his handicap career here three weeks ago, despite finding 6f on the short side. He can defy a 3lb rise. Solar Army and Whizz By look like the chief threats.
19:00 Heathcliff
Mount Athos, winner of this race for the last two years, ought to give the hat-trick a good shot, particularly if left alone in front. It’ll be fascinating to see how strong traveller Roi De France copes with dropping back in trip but James Fanshawe’s HEATHCLIFF is taken to make it a perfect 4-4 over 7f. The way he finished off over 6f the last twice bodes very well.
19:30 Berkshire Smudge
All of these have claims in a fair, interesting 3yo handicap, and perhaps BERKSHIRE SMUDGE can progress enough to win on his return. Sweet Fantastic is second choice, and Kameel needs a mention, seeing as he’s unbeaten in two starts.
20:00 Collusion
The slow starts are an issue with COLLUSION, but he continues to go the right way for his new yard, and the chance looks worth taking that he can act as well on Polytrack as he does on Tapeta. Two interesting alternatives are Four Adaay and Sonmarg, with the latter just preferred for the forecast now he is back on a handy mark for these connections.
20:30 Grey Fox
A great deal seems to depend on the fitness of GREY FOX, who made such an eye-catching first attempt at a staying trip when pipped over C&D last October. He’s been off since and needed his first run last year but his stable is among the winners, including with some returning from a winter break. It looks tight among the rest, but Donald Llewellyn might emerge best of them.
