13:28 Rathbranchurch

This looks very open, and it could pay to forgive RATHBRANCHURCH his failure to justify favouritism at the Curragh last Sunday. To win here, he will have to turn the tables on Catherine Chroi and Loingseoir, who can be reckoned as obvious dangers. My Girl Sioux may prove best of those fit from action at Dundalk.

14:03 Dance For Chester

If he is ready to rock on his return to action Unique Journey is proven on testing ground and should go close, though the drop back to this trip doesn’t look an obvious move.

The forecast conditions are a concern for Gazelle D’Or so a chance is taken on DANCE FOR CHESTER at a price. He hasn’t shown much so far on good ground, but his brother Bid For Chester won over this trip on heavy, so he could improve plenty for these conditions. Kayamite is another to consider.

14:38 Iron Fist

This can probably be narrowed to four serious contenders on juvenile form.

The vote goes to IRON FIST who showed ability in 1m maidens at the Curragh and may prove at least as effective over this trip. Rowdy Yeats gave two solid displays six months apart and can again go well fresh. Mississippi River and Storm Piece also hold an obvious chance.

15:13 Love Billy Boy (NAP)

Ger O’Learys’s recruit LOVE BILLY BOY (NAP) looked unlucky in a 6f Curragh handicap last Sunday and is tipped to make amends. Mercurial has a good record of reaching the money and is an attractive each-way option. The race-fit Heart Of Darkness and top-weight Chicago Fireball are also appealing.

15:48 Temperance

Kate McGivern gave TEMPERANCE a recent run at Dundalk, a factor that may enable her to reverse Birdcatcher Nursery form with two of these rivals, Manhattan Chute and Kodilcious.

A good case can be made for the Ballydoyle-trained Serengeti and Jessica Harrington’s apprentice-ridden hope Gloriously Glam.

16:23 Dallas Star

Last year’s winner, Sunchart, should run his race again with conditions to suit, but he might be vulnerable to younger legs. Adrian Murray has started the season well, and DALLAS STAR, a shock winner of the Ballysax Stakes on heavy ground last season, could be the one to be on here.

Bravais has been off a long time,e but he has rock-solid form in the book and is worth watching on his first start for Ger Lyons. Very testing ground may not be ideal for Trustyourinstinct.

16:58 Bay Colony

The top-rated BAY COLONY failed to live up to her price tag in three runs last season on good ground, but her pedigree suggests that she could improve plenty for testing conditions.

Calrissiana looks like the main danger, and Guarded and Guilty Pleasure are both open to improvement. The well-bred Faiyum is the most interesting of the newcomers.

17:30 Trinity College

Aidan O’Brien holds a strong hand here with TRINITY COLLEGE and Acapulco Bay with ready preference for the former who is proven on soft ground. Dignam could prove to be the best of the rest if handling the conditions.
