There is Grade 2 action at Newbury courtesy of the British EBF “National Hunt” Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle (15:15) as the Harry Derham-trained Jasmine Bliss attempts to rattle off a hat-trick. The trainer also saddles Imagine in the Class 2 Handicap Chase (14:40) as he bids to get a tune out of the expensive recruit at the fourth time of asking.

The Gordon Elliott-trained Western Fold heads the weights for the feature at Navan, the Listed Irish Stallion Farms EBF Novice Handicap Chase Final (16:30), the Go North Series Finals continue at Kelso and a decent field including Thunder Rock and Homme Public has been assembled for the Class 2 Alfa Aggregates Products Handicap Hurdle (13:35) at Bangor.

Wolverhampton’s meeting kicks off the all-weather action in the evening before Newcastle’s fixture rounds off proceedings.
