13:55 Queensbury Boy
QUEENSBURY BOY showed plenty of ability in bumpers last season, winning on debut at Chepstow and then showing even better form when runner-up at the Punchestown Festival.
He made a successful start over hurdles at Doncaster a few weeks ago. Queensbury Boy won that maiden hurdle with plenty in hand, looking like a useful prospect and is up to defying a penalty.
The good form of the Harry Derham yard is also in his favour.
14:30 Leave Of Absence
LEAVE OF ABSENCE isn’t the easiest to assess as he was second of two finishers at Kempton on his chasing debut and return from a long absence.
He was then a well-beaten second of only three finishers in the Grade 2 Reynoldstown Novices’ Chase at Ascot.
The time of the Kempton effort suggests that an opening BHA handicap mark of 132 could underestimate him, however, and it’s worth remembering that he was a talented sort in bumpers who won his sole start over hurdles.
He looks worth chancing on his handicap debut.
15:00 Manuelito
MANUELITO, a dual hurdles winner in the spring of last year for David Pipe, shaped as if in need of the run when only seventh at Taunton last month on his first start for Philip Hobbs and Johnson White and he duly improved on that at Exeter a couple of weeks ago.
Manuelito found one too strong after impressing with how he travelled through the contest, but he pulled 16 lengths clear of the rest.
He beat a useful sort when making a successful handicap debut at Ffos Las last year for his former yard and he could still have a bit more to offer for his current stable.

15:30 Go To War
GO TO WAR has run creditably to finish placed on two of his three starts this season, including when third in a two-and-a-half-mile handicap here a few weeks ago.
His pedigree shows loads of stamina and his persistence last time suggests that this step up to three miles could unlock some improvement.
He gets the vote over Welcome To Cartries, who was set a stiff task on both starts over fences and is an interesting runner reverting to hurdling.
16:02 Muskoka
MUSKOKA, a wide-margin winner at Hereford on his penultimate start, was only fourth of six at Wincanton last time, but the form is working out well as the third won next time while the winner produced an even better effort when runner-up on his next start.
Muskoka remains with the potential to do a bit better after only three starts over fences and he will have the assistance of Harry Cobden in the saddle for the first time.
16:37 Murphy’s Milan
MURPHY’S MILAN offered something to work with when third at Exeter on his only start in a bumper.
He has also shown promise on both starts over hurdles, finishing fourth in a couple of maiden hurdles at Chepstow.
Murphy’s Milan is bred to stay well and has been shaping as such, so he appeals as a likely improver upped to three miles on his handicap debut.
17:10 Enrilo
ENRILO was a smart chaser in his day.
While no longer capable of that form, he ran well when runner-up in a hunter chase at Ludlow last month.
He was only beaten by one who had won a handicap chase just six weeks earlier and he looks likely to give another good account here.
Itchy Feet is an obvious danger. He, too, was a talented sort in his prime.
While he’s been disappointing in both starts this season, it would be little surprise to see him fare better in this company.
