17:00 Reginald Charles
Having made a winning start for his new stable, REGINALD CHARLES could well follow up. Triple C&D scorer Keep Me Stable is feared most, ahead of War Memorial, who ran encouragingly last time.
17:30 Asgard’s Captain
There’s a strong case for ASGARD’S CAPTAIN, who has a good C&D record, looks like a leading player on recent form and was successful in this contest 12 months ago. Midnight Lion (second choice) and Beraz roughly tie in with the selection on last-time running, while Charlie’s Choice also has frame possibilities.
Some runners who lack recent match practice are still lightly raced or dropping in class, so it’s worth paying attention to how they go in the betting.
18:00 Frankie’s Dream
Tolerance is probably better than he’s been able to show and he may do better now that he’s had a wind op. However, preference is for dual C&D winner FRANKIE’S DREAM, who should be suited by the return to this trip and is 2lb ahead of his mark.
Diamont Katie looks best of the remainder.
18:30 Commanding Prince
If Toralou could reproduce her debut Haydock form, she would have strong claims, but she disappointed following a lengthy absence at Wolverhampton in January and has enough to prove.
Believe The Storm’s debut win has taken a few knocks so it’s best to side with COMMANDING PRINCE.
Archie Watson’s strapping gelding is back in trip under a penalty but he’s likely got a fair bit more to offer.

19:00 Buzz Box
Several of these can be given a chance, not least Miss Attitude, who turned in her best effort when winning in a tongue-tie on her AW debut and reappearance this month.
Paddy’s Day is on a four-timer and should be thereabouts, but the suggestion is BUZZ BOX, an uncomplicated sort who is on the upgrade.
He’s up in the weights and grade but is capable of better under Hollie Doyle. Fahrenheit Seven is another to consider.
19:30 Harry Palmer
Antiquity makes the long trip from Lambourn and is a player, as are fellow traveller Manton Road and last-time out winner Hock Eye The Noo.
However, the suggestion is HARRY PALMER, who shapes as though the step up to this trip will suit (backed up by pedigree) and gets cheekpieces for the first time.
20:00 Korroor (NAP)
The one who stands out in a substandard event for the grade is KORROOR (nap), who shaped as though coming to hand when a close third to an in-form sort over C&D last time.
He’s down in grade in the first-time visor and from a yard in fine form.
Blackcurrent could give him most to do.
20:30 Arlington
Not the most appetising getting-out stakes ever staged, but it could be worth going with ARLINGTON, a dual C&D winner last year who has claims on the form of his penultimate start.
She’sashambles and Doon The Glen look the main dangers.
