The step up to 3m can be the catalyst for a first win from the lightly raced 6yo SKIFFLE MAN, who stayed on well for a close second of 16 over 2m4f at Southwell on his handicap debut.
Jukebox Fury also hails from a top yard and could be the main danger after his breakthrough win at Doncaster. Farmer Jimmy retains potential, while Wearapinkribbon could also be involved.
19:00 Wolverhampton – Sam’s Hope (Racing Post)
Southwell runner-up SAM’S HOPE is taken to go one better and record a first success since joining her current stable.
Match Anthem (second choice) and Pessoa are solid dangers on recent form, while Pembrokeshire has possibilities if helped by the cheekpieces and Baroque Pearl may take a step forward.
19:30 Wolverhampton – Charlatan (RP Ratings)
Reunited with Callum Shepherd, CHARLATAN gets the percentage call. Mariner, who ties in closely with the selection, is second choice.
King Of Speed, Claxton Bay and I Can’t Believe are other likely players on recent form.
