Solid-looking BOLD SUITOR gets the verdict, ahead of Galileo Glass who may be helped by the cheekpieces. In-form mare Coconut Bay is third choice.

Southwell runner-up SAM’S HOPE is taken to go one better and record a first success since joining her current stable. Match Anthem (second choice) and Pessoa are solid dangers on recent form, while Pembrokeshire has possibilities if helped by the cheekpieces and Baroque Pearl may take a step forward.

Reunited with Callum Shepherd, CHARLATAN gets the percentage call. Mariner, who ties in closely with the selection, is second choice. King Of Speed, Claxton Bay and I Can’t Believe are other likely players on recent form.
20:00 Rumba Bay
David Evans has two of the leading contenders in Bank On Kent and RUMBA BAY, with the latter getting the vote to make a successful step back down in trip. She will probably be coming from off the pace and therefore need a bit of luck in running, which was in short supply last time out for Causin A Commotion (second choice) and Due Respect but they showed enough in adversity to get on the shortlist.
20:30 Forest Spirit (nap)
This is all about FOREST SPIRIT (nap), who escapes a penalty for Saturday’s 5l win in an apprentice handicap at Southwell. She will be very tough to beat if this doesn’t come too soon. Starfighter won twice over C&D in January and is the stand-out danger, while Harry The Haggler could also give a good account.
